ZAMBOANGA CITY - We're back in Asia's Latin City for the second time this year to witness Hermosa Festival. The festival culminates on October 12, the feast of Nuestra SeƱora del Pilar (Our Lady of the Pillar), the patroness of the city.

Fiesta Hermosa...Vamos a Zamboanga

One of the highlights of the month-long festival is the street dance competition held every October 11. This year, the parade started in front of the Department of Tourism office along N.S. Valderrosa Street passing in front of the Zamboanga City Hall. The parade will then end at the Joaquin F. Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex for the final showdown.

Enjoy the Latin beat with the music and the costumes. Dance along and treat you eyes with the colors and the smiles. Hermosa Festival is indeed the best time to visit Zamboanga and experience the Latin City at its most colorful and vibrant.

    1. Tara, there are other activities worth experiencing during the Hermosa Festival, such as the Regatta and Wow Sardinas. :-)
