Red Planet Hotel Quezon City is ideal for those coming from the provinces to transact or process documents with government offices in Quezon City. We also recommend the hotel to families in Quezon City looking for an affordable accommodation for their visiting Balikbayan relatives or friends. Quezon City is also an ideal base for foreign tourists in Manila because most of the bus terminals going north and south of Metro Manila have their terminals in the city. Red Planet Hotel Quezon City is also a good choice for barkadas or families who wish to have a Staycation in Quezon City.

If you are bringing your car, there are parking spaces in front of the building as well as on the second floor accessible through the ramp. From the second level parking, you can take the elevator to go to the frontdesk located on the ground floor. Note however that parking is on a first come first served basis. Parking is free of charge but are for the exclusive use of checked-in guests.
Checking-in at the hotel was quick and efficient. Just tell the receptionist that you have a confirmed reservation and present an ID card for a speedy check-in. In a matter of seconds, the receptionist handed us our keycard.

We were assigned to room 808 located on the 8th floor of the building. A little trivia. The number 8 is considered a lucky number in Chinese numerology, because the Chinese word for eight sounds similar to the words which mean "prosper" or "wealth". Chinese guests would normally request a room on the eight floor (if there's an eight floor) or a room with a number 8. The number 4 on the other hand is considered very unlucky because it sounds similar to the Chinese word for "death". Chinese guests would avoid the fourth floor or a room with a number 4 (most especially in hospitals).

Remember the keycard we mentioned earlier? That's a safety feature of the hotel. That keycard is used at the elevators, without it you can't access any floor of the hotel. The same keycard will also give you access to you room. It is programed so that only the keycard issued to you may be used to access your room. The keycard is also used to activate the power supply inside the room. The panel also controls the air conditioning unit.
Consistent to its promise, Red Planet Hotel Quezon City delivers 5-star hotel quality beds. The pillows, pillowcases and the bed sheets are clean and very fresh. The bed had the right firmness ensuring a very relaxing sleep.
The rooms are space-efficient and streamlined so that the room still enjoys functional fixtures without sacrificing space inside the room. Each room is equipped with a cable-ready LCD TV, an individually controlled air-conditioning unit, a ceiling fan and a hair dryer. For added safety, there's a safety deposit box in each room where guests can keep their valuables. Note that use of air-conditioning unit and cable TV are only available as Addons, on a pay as you use basis. Use of the ceiling fan and hair dryer are free of charge.
A signature design in many Red Planet Hotels are the frosted class doors that separate the bathroom from the bedroom. We think that it has a visual effect of making the bathroom look spacious from the inside.
If you are very particular about cleanliness of the bathroom, then you won't be disappointed with Red Planet Hotel Quezon City. The floor and the walls are spotless. It doesn't smell inside the bathroom and generally, it looks well maintained. The toilet is equipped with a bidet, something very important that many hotels choose to disregard.
The walk-in shower is very spacious. There's good supply of water and the water pressure is excellent. The shower has both hot and cold water and is equipped with a rain-shower head. Soap, shampoo and towel are not included in the room rate but are also available as an Addon. If you prefer a certain brand of toiletries, then do bring them.
Alternatively, you can purchase toiletries and other personal hygiene items at the hotel's frontdesk. There's also in-room massage service available, just check with the receptionist for the prices.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Red Planet Hotel Quezon City. We really feel rested and relaxed during our stay. Red Planet Hotel Quezon City is for you if you are on a budget and looking for a quality accommodation at very affordable price.
