MarQuee Mall Presents Big Bite: The Northern Food Festival 2014

This coming weekend, MarQuee Mall will once again bring together the flavors of the North in a food festival like no other. Happening on October 17-19, Big Bite: The Northern Food Festival 2014 will feature dishes and other culinary favorites from the Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon and the Cordilleras with more than 100 food merchants from various provinces participating in the Food Market.

The weekend event will kick-off on Friday, October 17 with a Giant Sisig cook-off. Sisig, Pampanga's most celebrated dish of our time, will be one of the highlights of the event. Sample different versions of the sisig, from the traditional to the modern, through cooking demos and culinary cook-offs.

Big Bite is truly an event that we food-loving Filipinos shouldn't miss. It's a once in a year opportunity for us to sample the various regional specialties of Northern Luzon in a single location. Don't forget to bring a huge bayong because you will surely find a lot of pasalubong goodies for your friends and family.

This event is made possible by MarQuee Mall, Ayala Malls’ premier shopping, leisure and entertainment destination in Pampanga, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Angeles Tourism Office, North Luzon Expressway, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Lifestyle Network.

Suggestion: Try the Roller Coaster Zipline and the Giant Swing

If you are visiting Big Bite this weekend, take the opportunity to visit SandBox at Alviera, in the neighboring town of Porac, Pampanga, to try out the Roller Coaster Zipline, the Giant Swing and other adventure activities.
