Authentic Vietnamese Meals for Students at Ba Noi's Katipunan

Ba Noi's Student Special Meals

Ba Noi's, Manila's most authentic Vietnamese restaurant, opened their Katipunan branch last year in U.P. Town Center, within the neighborhood of the University of the Philippines-Diliman Campus, Miriam College and Ateneo de Manila University. Katipunan has always been a dining destination in this part of Quezon City where students from the area get their first taste of the "eating out" culture with friends and classmates.

Ba Noi's Student Special Meals

It's really cool to be a student nowadays with all the food choices available in nearby restaurants that suit different tastes, appetite and budget. Ba Noi's Student Special meals for example are very affordable at P99.00 to P180.00 which already includes a glass of their house-brewed lemongrass iced tea. They're not only affordable, they're also delicious and filling! A value-for-money meal exclusively created for students. Here are five different authentic Vietnamese rice toppings that students can choose from.

Thăn Bò (P180.00) Vietnamese fried rice served with Ba Noi's specialty dish, the Bò Lúc Lắc, or the stir-fried beef with fried basil. On the side is a dip made of salt, pepper and lemon juice. The dip releases all the flavors of the dish, you shouldn't miss this!

Vietnamese Coffee & Baguette

Ba Noi's Katipunan also serves their famous Bánh Mì, or Vietnamese baguette, freshly baked and served with a side of home-made liver pate and whipped butter (P30.00). It is best paired with Cà Phê Sữa Đá (iced Vietnamese coffee) or Cà Phê Sữa Nóng (hot Vietnamese coffee) both priced at only P110.00. Baguette and coffee are perfect for late breakfast to wake you up before going to your class, or as an afternoon snack to catch up with your classmates or when working on a group project before going home.

They also provide free Wifi Internet access to their guests. We tested the speed and it was fairly fast. There are several power outlets inside the restaurant so it's a perfect place where you can work on your thesis, online research for a paper, or just kill time surfing the net while enjoying your lunch or afternoon coffee.
