Guests arriving at Conrad Guangzhou will be welcomed by the hotel's spacious lobby. The interior is filled will elements of Lingnan design such as the chandelier inspired by traditional palace lanterns, the intricate wall all behind the front office, and the use of white marbles and green accent lights.

The highlight of the lobby is definitely the grand staircase which spirals its way up to the restaurants, meeting rooms and function rooms of the hotel. I particularly love the green glass panels used in the construction of the staircase as it replicates the green bricks used in classical Lingnan houses. The same green glass panels are used as walling to elevator lobbies which then replicates the narrow corridors and alleyways found in most Lingnan structures.
