McDonald's Philippines today announced three limited edition desserts for this year's Christmas Season — the Mudpie McFlurry with Oreo, the White Chocolate McFlurry with Oreo and the Apple Pie ala Mode.

Starting November 13, 2014 all McDonald's branches in the Philippines will start serving these three new desserts, signaling the start of the Christmas Season.
The White Chocolate McFlurry with Oreo (P52.00) is a slight twist to McDonald's usual Oreo McFlurry by adding bits of white chocolate into the dessert. The white chocolate actually tasted like the chocolate coating they use for their sundae on cone.

The Mudpie McFlurry with Oreo (P52.00) has a deep chocolaty flavor, by mixing hot fudge to the vanilla sundae. We actually prefer this than the White Chocolate McFlurry with Oreo.

The Apple Pie ala Mode (45.00) is simply a cross between the Apple Pie and Caramel Sundae.

If you're following us on Instragram (@pinasmuna), you must have seen the photo tutorial on how to create your own Apple Pie ala Mode we posted last week. A premonition? With the Apple Pie ala Mode now officially on the menu selling at P45.00, you get to save P5.00 compared to making it on your own (P25.00 + P25.00 = P50.00)

You will also notice that they had a custom made paper cup for this dessert. And if you look closely, the Apple Pie was sliced into two before topping it with sundae and caramel.
We love the combination of the warm apple pie and the cold sundae. Caramel also complements the cinnamon flavor of the apple pie, but we find it too sweet. You can of course request you Apple Pie ala Mode without caramel syrup.
Of all the three, our top choice is the Apple Pie ala Mode, followed by the Mudpie McFlurry with Oreo. We'd skip the White Chocolate McFlurry with Oreo as we don't see anything special with it. How about you? Which ones have you tried? Which one are your favorite?
