Capitol Commons in Pasig City has slowly built its name in the Metro Manila dining scene from the time it debuted in June 2013. After a few food bazaars and food trucks, restaurants have started to open their doors in October. Black Olive features modern Mediterranean cuisine by Chef Carlo Miguel, as well as a selection of high-end European beer brands. Tipsy Pig Gastropub is a hip restaurant that serves foreign and local brand beers, liquors and signature cocktail drinks, as well as pizzas, steaks, burgers and some creative reinvention of Filipino pulutan items. Nomama serves Japanese food with a twist and specializes in ramen. They first opened in Quezon City and opened their second branch at the Capitol Commons.

Sentro 1771 (Now Open)

Sentro 1771 is the pioneer in modern Filipino cuisine. The restaurant is famous for their Corned Beef Sinigang, Lamb Caldereta, Rated GG and Keso Flan. Sentro 1771 also launched its new menu with dishes created by Chef Vicky Pacheco. The restaurant's third branch open at the Capitol Commons in August 2014.

Estancia

Estancia is a new shopping and retail mall located inside Capitol Commons which also houses a number of restaurants. Some of the restaurants opened in early December while the other restaurants will open in January 2015. Check out our list of Restaurants at Estancia, Capitol Commons.

Capitol Commons is the newest urban destination in the southern part of Ortigas Center. Located at Meralco Avenue corner Shaw Boulevard, Capitol Commons stands at the former site of the Rizal Provincial Capitol.

Capitol Commons can be accessed via Shaw Boulevard, and via Capt. H. Javier Street near ULTRA and Valle Verde Country Club. Free parking spaces are available at the back of the restaurants and along the main road inside the complex. Through public transportation, commuters can take the Pasig-bound jeepneys at EDSA Central. Just tell the driver to drop you off at Kapitolyo.

    1. Hi, thanks for visiting our blog. Capitol Commons was launched in the second quarter of 2013 but it was only in August 2013 when the first restaurant opened in the Capitol Commons. :-)
