Cabatuan: Iloilo International Airport

It is said that the Iloilo International Airport is one of the most beautifully designed airports in the Philippines. With its modern design, clean facilities and efficient services, the Iloilo International Airport has become my favorite airport terminal in the Philippines.

Restaurants and food stalls are conveniently located by the pre-departure area, some establishments even offer free wifi service.

The area is simply relaxing, that some passengers even took the liberty of sleeping on the benches.

During my visit to Iloilo, I always wanted to try Coffee Break, a famous chain of coffee shops in the city. Fortunately, they have a branch right inside the airport so before I left Iloilo, I got to try their iced latte.

Similar to Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the Domestic Passenger Terminal Fee at the Iloilo International Airport is also Php200.

How we went there
From Iloilo City, one can easily get a taxi going to the airport. The standard flat-rate fare during my visit was Php400. A cheaper alternative is to take the GT Express vans parked beside SM City Iloilo for only Php70 per person.
