Official Philippine Holidays in 2014

One of the best ways to save on your travel expenses is to plan and book your flights and hotel accommodations in advance, we recommend at least six months ahead of your trip. The -ber months are the best time to start planning for your vacations in 2014.

We have created a calendar that can help you better plan your holidays next year. Above is our calendar of Philippine Holidays in 2014 which can serve as your quick reference when booking promo fares with airlines and hotels. We also prepared a calendar of Long Weekends in 2014.

Long Weekends in the Philippines in 2014

Knowing when the long weekends would fall will enable you to maximize your vacations. The calendar above shows the dates (in red) of holidays immediately proceeding or following a weekend (Saturday & Sunday). If you need a longer weekend, you can use some of your vacation leave entitlement prior to or after these long weekends. Some holidays and weekends are separated by a regular working day on which you may also use your vacation leave entitlement.

Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha may fall on the expected date indicated on the calendar or a day following the expected date, depending on the result of the lunar sighting.

So what are you waiting for, start checking for airline tickets and hotel accommodations for your 2014 vacations before they become expensive!

Update: The holidays above are confirmed based on Proclamation No. 655, s. 2013 issued by the Malacanang on September 25, 2013. Dates for Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha remain to be estimate dates only.
