Chelsea Kitchen at Eastwood Mall [NOW OPEN]

Chelsea Kitchen, a casual dining restaurant owned and managed by the Raintree Restaurants Group, opens its second branch at the ground floor of the Eastwood Mall, in Libis, Quezon City. Chelsea Kitchen features intercontinental cuisine consisting of dishes made with a delectable fusion of flavors.

Chelsea Kitchen replaces MoMo Cafe, another Raintree Restaurant, but MoMo Cafe fans should not worry. According to Mela Sison, Marketing Manager of Raintree Hospitality Group, "Chelsea Kitchen will be so much more fun and exciting, you won't miss MoMo Cafe too much." Here are some of the "Feel Good" food to expect at Chelsea Kitchen.

Chili Lime Chicken and Chorizo Nachos
Chili Lime Chicken and Chorizo Nachos - a Chelsea Kitchen best-seller, this version of the all-time favorite nachos gives this dish a fresh and refreshing take, less oily and heavy on the cream side with the added feta crumble, sour cream and cheese dressing.

Mushroom Chicharon
Mushroom Chicharon - another best-seller, this guiltless alternative to the classic pork chicharon. This vegetarian version is crispy and not oily, most of the earthy flavor of the mushroom are gone making it more enjoyable. Served with basil pesto aioli and spiced red vinegar dip.

The CK Chicken Salad
The CK Chicken Salad - a hefty serving of Asian slaw, fresh basil, cilantro and mint, topped with char-grilled pesto chicken and sprinkled with white and black sesame and roasted peanuts and cashew. It is served with peanut plum dressing and lemon vinaigrette placed in two mini jars.

Tinapa Cream, Cherry Tomatoes & Arugula (12" Stone-Fired Pizza) - it all starts with a freshly made dough and slow fermented for hours to develop a light and airy consistency with a mode developed flavor, a technique that Raintree Restaurants Group has mastered. The dough is then topped with a base of tinapa cream, layered with sliced cherry tomatoes olives, onions and cheese. The freshly baked pizza is then topped with arugula leave which gives that distinct nutty flavor.

Truffled Mushroom Cream & Bacon Spaghetti - any truffle lover would absolutely enjoy this pasta dish. The earthy flavor of the mushroom and the smokey flavor of the bacon are a perfect match to this cream-based pasta dish.

U.S. Roast Beef and Gravy
U.S. Roast Beef and Gravy - Tender slices of beef belly smothered with mushroom gravy and served on a bed of toast. This reminds me of the beef with mushroom dish my mom used to cook every Sunday, this time, I'm not having it with rice. This dish is pure love.

Fried Chicken Parmigiana
Fried Chicken Parmigiana - another must-try dish, chicken fillet is coated with herb crumbs and fried until golden brown, layered with sliced fried eggplant, and smothered with tomato sauce, white sauce, and melted mozzarella. I enjoyed the contrast of the crunchy crust of the chicken and the tender tomato chunks and friend eggplant.

Creamed Spinach, Bacon & Corn - this contorno went well with the fried chicken fillet or any other fried dishes. I would actually make as a good spread for bread.

Donut Holes - Chelsea Kitchen's best-selling dessert, these small balls of donut are filled with dulce de leche and served with a warm chocolate dip. This is best partnered with black coffee to balance the sweetness.

Burnt Chocolate & Honeycomb
Burnt Chocolate & Honeycomb - one of the artisanal cakes offered by Chelsea Kitchen. I like this one because it is not too sweet. The bold flavor of the chocolate was given a hint of caramel by the honeycomb, an interesting contrast of textures.

Cookie Dough Cheesecake
Cookie Dough Cheesecake - the award-winning cake of Chelsea Grand Cafe makes its way to its sister restaurant Chelsea Kitchen. Two of the best desserts invented are combined into one heavenly cheesecake. You have to try it yourself!

About 1/6 of the entire menu is dedicated to drinks, and option ranges from coffee, tea, milkshakes, cocktails, mocktails, smoothies, floats, iced tea and sodas.
