Seda Residences Makati

I recently spent a weekend at Seda Residences Makati and stayed in one of its One Bedroom Deluxe Residence. With a total floor area of 50 square meters, it has a spacious living area, a kitchen, a dining area, an en-suite bathroom, and a separate bedroom.

The main selling point of a serviced residence is the convenience of having a fully-equipped kitchen. This makes it possible for guests to cook their own meals during their stay. Guests staying at Seda Residences Makati also enjoy daily complimentary housekeeping service.

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, an oven toaster, a rice cooker, an electronic kettle, and a refrigerator. There's also an induction stove, as well as a variety of cookware such as frypan and saucepan. There are also two sets of tableware and cutlery stored in the cabinet under the stove.

The dining table can comfortably seat two persons. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, and tea sachets are placed on the table and replenished daily. Guests who don't prefer to cook can also order food delivery or room service. Dishes from the in-room dining menu are prepared by Misto Restaurant, the all-day dining restaurant of Seda Residences Makati.

The living area is furnished with a sofa that can comfortably seat up to three to four persons. Opposite the sofa is a LED HDTV with local and international cable channels. The LED HDTV also has USB and HDMI ports to which guests can connect multimedia devices.

Guests who wish to stream Netflix or Youtube videos to the LED HDTV screen can do so by connecting a Google Chromecast dongle to the HDMI port. Guests can also connect their Nintendo Switch to the HDMI port to play video games on the big screen.

Next to the living area is the work station furnished with an executive writing desk and an ergonomic chair. The desk has a media panel with HDMI, USB, and A/V connectivity. Complimentary WiFi internet is available inside the residence and in all common areas of  Seda Residences Makati.

The bedroom features a king-size bed and a window-side sofa. Power outlets and light switches are conveniently located next to the bed. The closet cabinet is placed inside the safety and privacy of the bedroom. An iron and ironing board are provided. The bedroom also has its own LED HDTV.

The temperature in the living area and inside the bedroom is well-maintained within the comfortable zone of 18°C-24°C. This, combined with a comfortable bed, ensures that guests will feel well-rested when they wake-up in the morning.

Seda Residences Makati

The en-suite bathroom features a single vanity with hot and cold water. There is also a separate walk-in shower. Clean towels are provided, as well as toiletries and two sets of dental kits. The washer and dryer are smartly placed inside the bathroom.

There's strong water pressure from the faucet and shower. Hot water is instantaneously available and water temperature is easy to manage. The glass door effectively kept water inside the walk-in shower. For guests who prefer to bring their own toiletries, you can place them on the vanity countertop or on the rack inside the walk-in shower.

Serviced residences such as this one are indeed an excellent choice both for business and leisure travelers, may they be on a short stay or a long-term stay. With residential amenities and hotel-like services available, I also recommend this accommodation for family staycations.
