The Cassamata Hill National Park is accessible from the corner of Taft Avenue and the provincial road. Entrance is free of charge.

The San Lorenzo Ruiz Shrine is a Spanish-era church in the municipality of Bangued, Province of Abra, Philippines. The church was built entirely of red bricks and stands right next to the Roman Catholic Cemetery of Bangued. It is located along Santiago Street in sitio Camposanto.

Bangued Cathedral
The Bangued Cathedral, formally known as Saint James the Elder Parish Cathedral, is a Baroque-style cathedral located in the municipality of Bangued, the capital of the Province of Abra, Philippines. The church was built in 1807 and was elevated to a cathedral when the Territorial Prelature of Bangued was established in 1955. Bangued Cathedral has been the seat of the Diocese of Bangued since 1982. The Bangued Cathedral is one of the landmarks located along Taft Avenue, directly facing the Bangued Town Plaza.
Abra Miki
Abra Miki is a Filipino noodle soup dish originating from the province of Abra. It is made of thick egg noodles cooked in a rich pork broth colored with annatto seeds (atsuete). To make it extra special, Abra Miki may be served with hard-boiled egg, shredded pork meat, and bits of chicharon. It also comes with chopped scallion and vinegar with bird's eye chili on the side.

While on the road, a friend based in Ilocos Norte texted me asking what our plan was for the day. I told him that we are on our way to Bangued. He immediately replied and asked me, What are you going to do in Abra? If it's not that important, don't push through with it. I told him that we are just making a quick tour around the town and will be back in Vigan by lunchtime. He then said, Just stay inside car, don't get off, just drive around and keep safe.
