The Davao City Tourism Office today launched through its Facebook page the Official Schedule of Activities of this year's Kadayawan Festival in Davao City. As earlier announced by the City Government of Davao, the Highlights of Kadayawan 2015 will happen on the week of August 17-23, 2015.

Empanada Festival 2015

The Empanada Festival of Batac was created to showcase the city's famous delicacy, the Batac Empanada. Celebrating its eighth charter day on June 23, the City of Batac will again host the annual Empanada Festival highlighted by the Street Dance Competition. Participating are students clad in colorful costumes of bright yellow, warm orange, brown and green, and dancing to the upbeat tune of Ciudad ti Batac.

Peñafrancia Festival is one of the biggest Roman Catholic festivals in the Philippines. Every September, millions of devotees and pilgrims from around the Philippines and abroad visit the City of Naga, Camarines Sur province for the annual celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Penafrancia. The festival is month-long celebration with the highlights concentrated on September 12-21, 2014.

The feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia is celebrated by millions of Filipino Roman Catholics in the City of Naga, Camarines Sur province, on the third Saturday and Sunday of September. A nine-day novena is offered to the Our Lady of Peñafrancia starting on the second Friday of September. On the first day of the novena, the image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia is transferred from the Penafrancia Shrine to the Naga Cathedral in a procession (the Traslacion) attended by many devotees. On the ninth day of the novena, the image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia will returned to the Basilica Minore in a Fluvial Procession.

Tnalak Festival 2013 Street Dance Competition


The Tnalak Festival is a annual festival held in the province of South Cotabato which showcases the T'nalak, the traditional cloth handwoven by the T'boli women of Lake Sebu. The festival also coincides with the foundation anniversary of the province. The festival is also a celebration of the tri-people of South Cotabato: the T'bolis, the Christians, and the Muslims.

Ramadan 2013 Celebration in ARMM


The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), through the Department of Tourism ARMM, is once again holding the month-long Ramadan Fair at the ARMM Compound (ORG Complex) in Cotabato City. At the core of the Ramadan 2013 activities is the Ramadan Food & Trade Fair which showcases the rich culture of the ARMM through its diverse culinary specialties and handicrafts. Food and non-Food stalls dressed in the colorful Maguindanaoan style are such a treat for the sight and add to the festive atmosphere of the venue. The events run from July 8 to August 10, 2013.
