NEW Restaurant in Baguio: The Coffee Library

The Coffee Library Baguio

The Coffee Library is a new cafe in Baguio City which specializes in Vietnamese and Italian coffees. The cafe opened last December 10, 2015 making it the newest cafe in Baguio City. Our recent visit to Baguio was very timely to their opening, and we were one of the first ones to try this newest hangout place in Baguio.

NEW Restaurant in Baguio: 2600 Gastropub



2600 Gastropub is a newly opened pub in Baguio City offering a wide selection of premium drinks such as beers, liquors, wines and cocktails and paired with gourmet style food served in a casual dining setting. It opened in late April 2015 along Gen. Luna Road and the first and only gastropub in Baguio City.

Le Chef is the all-day dining restaurant of The Manor at Camp John Hay and is famous for the wide selection of food items served at its breakfast buffet. Last year, we were able to have one of our afternoon snacks at Le Chef as part of the Baguio Food Tour 2013. This year, like an answered prayer, we are back at Le Chef, this time to sample their much talked about breakfast buffet.

La Comida de Antonio Ristorante in Baguio City serves Spanish dishes as well as some Filipino and Western meals and snacks. It is among the newest restaurants in Baguio City that is hidden away from the radars of the tourists but is slowly gaining popularity among the locals. It is located on the 4th floor of La Azotea Building, Session Road. It is the same building where another restaurant specializing in vegetarian food is located.

Baguio City's award-winning restaurant Hill Station has recently branched out from the historic Casa Vallejo along Upper Session Road into the bustling Baguio-Ayala Land Technohub inside Camp John Hay. Hill Station Bistro opened its doors last December 19, 2013 in time for Christmas.

Baguio Food Tour 2013



In October 2013, Pinas Muna successfully launched the Baguio Food Tour (BFT) blogger event in Baguio City aimed at promoting the City of Pines as a food trip destination. We were joined by nine other travel and food bloggers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
